This is a gorgeous piecrust edge bowl made by Northwood in the ice blue coloured Nippon carnival glass pattern. The pattern features a peacock tail pattern with a circular design in its centre that represents the Imperial Crest of the Empress of Japan. The exterior is finished in a basketweave pattern. It measures 8 3/4 across and has a height of about 2 at its edge. It is marked with the underlined N on the exterior bottom. It is in very good condition with no wear, chips or cracks - there is a small straw mark visible on the exterior bottom, very minor. Please note that the colour and iridescence may appear different depending on colour and background - the black background in my photos helps the iridescence present itself to a greater degree. This is a lovely pattern - great addition to a carnival glass collection!
