Long coat by comme des garcons homme (autumn winter 1996), made with lightweight worsted wool fabric which has been bonded to nylon on the inside and a layer of polyurethane padding in between. This produces slightly flat / puffy effect on the body which feels confusing to the eye (which perhaps does not expect such solidity from this lightweight fabric). Details vaguely mackintosh-y, with point collar, covered button placket, and button flap at cuffs, in addition to less mackintosh-y patch pockets at waist and breast. Coat nicely topstitched, too.
